Church History
On September 5, 1999, the first service of the Sanctuary Christian Arts Center was held at 9601 Mendoza Road. in spite of driving rain from a Hurricane (Floyd) down south and no telephone service to confirm directions, a number of God’s people assembled to witness the initial worship service of the new Church. On January 9, 2000, the official dedication service for the Sanctuary Christian Arts Center took place. In this service, the word was delivered in four different venues: the visual, movement (dance), music (presentation of an original composition) and the poetry of the gospel (spoken word). Ministries at Sanctuary include Regular Worship Services, Sunday School, Congregational Dance, A Radio Ministry, Tea Ministry and Library Resource Ministry. Sanctuary Christian Art Center is a ministry with bold vision for the people of God. The Lord is moving in this place and the best is yet to come!!!!
